Interested in spending some time with horses at the Wanake Ranch? Join us any or all of these Saturdays for a day that is set aside at The Wanake Ranch just for Trail Rides and Pony Rides. Trail Rides last approximately 1 hour and include an instruction period in the ring. Plan now to see Wanake – the beautiful, spiritual place among the hills – on horseback. Pony Rides are a led horse ride on a full size horse in the riding arena. Reservations are preferred but not required.
Trail ride arrival and orientation is at 8:45 AM and 10:15 AM each week
Trail Ride: $30 per person
Pony Ride: $5 per person

S'More Family Fun Day

See The Wanake Ranch and the main campus of Wanake, explore summer camp options, register for camp, and/or book a retreat or event. Check out living spaces and meet the staff.

Horseback Trail Ride Overnighter
Saturday-Sunday, June 4-5, 2016
Join us for this adventure on horseback! We will begin at The Wanake Ranch and take our horses through the beautiful rolling hills of Wanake for a two hour trail ride. We will end our ride at the furthest reaches of Wanake where our horses have a pasture and we will make camp at the Survival Cabin and Adirondack Shelters. The evening will include a time of fellowship, dinner over the campfire, a barn dance, and evening campfire with music and dessert. The morning will include a cowboy campfire breakfast, cowboy worship, and a two hour trial ride back to the Ranch. You don’t want to miss this time to get away and spend time in God’s creation with friends and horses! (This event begins at 1:30 PM on Saturday at the Wanake Ranch and will end by noon Sunday.)
Cost: $139/person; Riders must be at least 12 years old and have some experience. Those under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Space is limited, so register today!

Fall Festival at the Wanake Ranch
Saturdays, September 24 and October 1, 2016 from 2-6 PM
Come celebrate the fun of fall! Join Wanake for pumpkin painting and pony rides, a kiddie hay maze, wagon rides, games, and face painting! New this year is pumpkin lobbing! There will be food for sale and opportunities to make your own s’more over the open fire. Hot dogs, sloppy joes, coneys, nachos, cookies, hot cider, and hot cocoa are sure to please. Bring your family for an afternoon full of fall fun!
This event is Free for all. Food may be purchased as desired. No Reservations are necessary.
Ride-A-Thon -- Walk-A-Thon
At The Wanake Ranch
Saturday, October 8, 2016 (Rain Date is Sunday, October 9, 2016)
Wanake is asking YOU to partner with us to raise funds to help more kids attend a summer camp program. Proceeds of the Ride-a-Thon/Walk-a-Thon defray the costs of ranch operations and horse care, lowering camp fees for summer campers! Join us by riding a horse on Wanake’s beautiful wooded trails for an hour, or hiking on Wanake’s amazing walking trails. You may choose to rent a horse from Wanake or bring your own! Get as many sponsors as you can to help raise funds for those who may otherwise not get to experience Summer Camp. Reserve your spot today and start collecting sponsors!
All riders and walkers have a minimum sponsorship requirement of $75
Rent a Wanake horse: $25 per person
Bring your own horse: $10 per person
Walkers: $10 per person
*Must be 12 years or older to take a horse on trail. Any age may walk.
Live Nativity at the Wanake Ranch
December 1, 2, and 3, 2017
Come experience what it was like that holy night when Christ Jesus came to Earth! Begin in Bethlehem and travel to visit the Wise Men, Shepherds, and Mary & Joseph to hear their miraculous story of the events of that night.
Walking tours take approximately 20 minutes and include 3 stations, live animals, and warm campfires. Food for sale and live music will take place in the heated waiting area, aka Bethlehem Square.
No reservations required. This event is free!!
